SONNECY Technologies (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was founded in December 2013. The company is located in Pudong New Area, the most populous district in Shanghai - China's economic, financial, trade and shipping center. It is located near Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

In November 2014, we have not only registrated the European Community trade mark, but also the Chinese trademark SONNECY. The name "Sonnecy" can be devided into two parts: Sonne and CY. In German "Sonne" means "the sun", and “CY” represents the headquarters, ChenYang Technologies GmbH & Co. KG. As the subsidiary company of Chenyang, Sonnecy inherits not only Chenyang's vision to be one of the main suppliers for Hall Effect Sensors (Hall ICs, current, voltage, speed, position sensors), Measuring Devices & Instruments and Magnetic Products in Germany and Europe, it also devotes itself to completing the mission together with Chenyang, that is, to exceed our customer’s expectations in quality, delivery, and cost through continuous improvement and customer interaction.

The main products of Sonnecy include Hall Effect switching ICs, linear Hall elements, current and voltage sensors, Hall gear tooth sensors, Hall Vane sensors, Hall proximity switches, magnetoresistive speed sensors, Gaussmeters, fluxmeters, magnetic pole detectors and various kinds of permanent magnetic products etc. 

The research and development works of ChenYang focus on electromagnetic measuring technique and sensor technology, development and application of Hall sensors, measurements of weak magnetic fields and weak current, speed and position measurement, precision measurement technology, permanent-magnetic material applications and so on.
